We are a community of Black males dedicated to redefining masculinity, fostering unity, and promoting positive changes for ourselves, families, and community.
The Brotherhood Coalition (BHC) is a group of Black men who came together in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, following the tragic murder of George Floyd.
OUR VISION: To create a community of Black males dedicated to improving our economic, social, and health outcomes now and into the future.
OUR MISSION: To create spaces and unique opportunities for Black males to build relationships, learn and take action toward personal and collective goals, while also uplifting one another and our communities.
Just some of our activities include....

Hosting social networking and group events

Supporting each other, listening to problems and collectively finding solutions.

Understanding finances and investing in real estate, start-ups, restaurants and businesses, stocks/bonds, etc.

Seeking and providing learning and training opportunities.

Giving transparent, critical and respectful feedback to members to help them grow.

Learning and taking advantage of mental health, wellness and self care strategies.
BHC welcomes all Black males from all ages, and diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, who are looking to connect and support other like-minded Black males to collectively achieve better outcomes for themselves and others.

Chuks Onwuachi
ABOUT CHUKS
chuks Onwuachi is of Nigerian descent and was born in Edmonton, Ontario. He completed a Bachelor’s dehgree in Economics at Carleton University and he is currently working in the Federal Public Service. Not only does he pride himself on being a good husband, father, brother and son, but he is also focused on being a person who is committed to helping others, building his community and creating strong relationships.
Chuks Onwuachi is of Nigerian descent and was born in Edmonton, Ontario. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Carleton University and he is currently working in the Federal Public Service. Not only does he pride himself on being a good husband, father, brother and son, but he is also focused on being a person who is committed to helping others, building his community and creating strong relationships. His interest include playing basketball and soccer, and he also has been in real estate since 2018. Over the last several years, Chuks has been focused on ensuring his work in government is geared towards addressing issues faced by the Black Canadian Community. He previously worked with the Federal Black Employees Caucus, an organization that focused on addressing anti-Black racism within government. He also worked as a policy analyst with the Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative at Employment and Social Development Canada, which is an initiative focused on taking targeted measures to build capacity and infrastructure within the Black community. “Trust, Respect, Integrity and Willingness to Collaborate” are very important qualities to him. He always strives to surround himself with people who value taking bold action to improve not only their own lives, but in the lives of others as well.

Mclels Theodore
Mclels Theodore is a highly motivated Haitian entrepreneur from Ottawa Canada. Born in Haiti and migrating to Canada at a young age, Mclels knew that a humble beginning makes the best come up story. Mclels Theodore focuses his time learning and applying life strategies and shares his knowledge openly, and is always looking to provide value. Mclels attended Algonquin College for Business Accounting and has used that background in assisting different small businesses over the last 10years. Mclels Theodore has a strong passion for Real Estate investing and launched Billionaera to highlight the importance of financial literacy and his real estate journey. Mclels wants to create equal opportunities and set the pace to provide generational wealth to the black community. With the Brotherhood coalition Mclels hopes to help all those in the brotherhood buy back that freedom & time.

Travis Dougan
Travis Dougan is a visionary leader, digital strategist, and cultural connector whose work bridges grassroots activism, corporate excellence, and technological innovation. Born in Montreal and grounded in deep roots from Trinidad and Jamaica, Travis brings a global perspective and diasporic awareness to every space he enters. From an early age, Travis developed a strong interest in politics, justice, and systems of power—an interest that would guide much of his career and advocacy. His multicultural upbringing in one of Canada's most diverse cities sharpened his ability to navigate complex environments, speak across differences, and lead with emotional intelligence. By his mid-20s, Travis had already broken barriers, becoming the youngest—and only Black—manager at one of Canada’s top five corporations. This milestone reflected not only his leadership skills, but also his ability to drive performance, manage high-level teams, and set a standard of excellence in competitive spaces. As the founder of the Brotherhood Coalition, Travis leads with purpose and urgency. The Coalition is a growing force for transformation, accountability, and healing among Black men in Ottawa and beyond. His vision for community building is rooted in legacy, connection, and action. In the creative space, Travis manages the career of performing artist MissDiva, overseeing everything from event logistics to performance contracts. His role in artist management blends strategic planning, brand development, and cultural insight, ensuring MissDiva’s talent is matched by professional structure and opportunity. Travis is also a self-taught technologist, leveraging AI tools, automation platforms, and coding skills to streamline business operations and build digital infrastructure. He has trained himself in using AI agents, HTML, and a variety of applications to support both nonprofit initiatives and entrepreneurial ventures. A symbol of innovation, resilience, and Black excellence, Travis Dougan is committed to creating impact across industries—amplifying voices, advancing communities, and building systems that reflect our highest potential.
